{Raspberry Cranberry Preserve} - Jeleu de coacaze si zmeura
Serves:: 2-3 jars
  • 500g cranberries
  • 200ml water
  • 200g fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 400g sugar
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  1. Prepare 2-3 glass jars by washing them with hot water.
  2. Combine the cranberries, water and raspberries in a saucepan and place over medium flame.
  3. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes from the moment it starts to boil.
  4. Remove from heat and pass the mixture through a fine sieve to remove the seeds.
  5. Transfer the puree back in the saucepan and add the lemon juice and sugar.
  6. Cook for about 8 minutes until it begins to thicken.
  7. Pour the hot preserve in your prepared jars and turn them upside down for a few minutes - this helps the lids seal properly on the jar.
